​

Joining a circle Do’s and Don’t

  • All members must join a Prana Circle/Susu before the start date and not after the circle kicks off. 

  • Members may leave a Prana Circle/Susu before the start date and not after the circle kicks off. 

  • Payout dates are first come first serve. 

 

Contribution and Payout timing

  • Contribution amount is taken out 7 days before a member payout date because we use bank transfers which take 4-5 days to clear into a member's account. 

  • Payout might be delayed by a day or two if there is a Federal or a bank holiday.

Member Default

  • Our system verifies the identity of everyone who joins a circle but we still cannot guarantee against member defaults.

  • For payout amounts over $1000, we will ask you to submit a credit report.

  • If a member defaults one time, we charge them a $50 late fee and let the defaulting member know that we will debit their account for their contribution amount one more time.

  • If the member still does not have the required amount for a contribution, we suspend the circle and bar that member from joining another circle on our platform. The remaining members can decide if they want the circle to go on or be canceled. If canceled, all the money in circulation for that circle/susu is returned to the remaining members.

 

Eligibility

  • You have to be over the age of 18 to join a circle/susu using Prana.​

  • You have to be living in the U.S and have a U.S bank account to join a Prana circle/susu

 

Other requirements

  • Before you join a circle, you will need to verify your identity on our app to ensure group safety. This is also a federal law.

  • You are required to link your bank account to Prana. We do not use Zelle, Venmo, or Cash app. We have our own proprietary money transfer system.

  • We have to charge a fee to keep this platform running. The fee is collected from the first contribution. Here is our fee structure : 

    • $12 fee to join circles with payouts less than $750, 

    • $25 fee for payouts between $750-$2000, 

    • $50 for payouts over $2000. 

 

Communication​

You are required to join our telegram channel after you have joined a Prana circle/susu in order to get important updates about your circle.

Accountability

We are all here to hold each other accountable towards saving goals that matter to us, please make sure you always have at least 2 contributions worth of money in your bank account to avoid defaulting on your payment.
